Labor and immigration ban for leaving job without cancellation
Hi Madam,
I have left the job in 2007 in Dubai without informing the employer. I want to know whether they have levied an immigration ban on me.
Need your help to know the ban (Immigration or Labor). Please let me know your mail ID and fees.

Dear Questioner,
Thanks for writing to me.
Since you have left the country without cancelling the visa, you may find it difficult to enter the UAE on a new visa without cancelling the previous one.
That doesn't mean that you have an immigration ban. It is a procedure to be followed.
Regarding the labour ban, please note that the maximum period of the labour ban is one year and not more than that.
The labour ban is imposed as a punishment for violating the terms of the employment contract.
From your question, it is not clear that your employer has filed any criminal case against you or any of your banks have filed a criminal case against you for [outstanding loan].
In that case, there can be a blacklisting in the immigration which will end up in your arrest when you enter any airport in the UAE.
Hope the above explanation could give you clarity on the legal background of your current situation.
Please feel free to contact me if you need any further assistance, information or guidance in this regard.
