Possibility of a travel ban in a civil case for rent cheques
Hi,
My landlord filed a complaint about two cheques totalling 55k. The police called me to pay a fine and the case will be dropped from the police.
What will happen next? RDC? Will they penalize with a fine? If yes, then how much it might be? If the case goes to RDC, does it impose a travel ban also?
Please give guidance
It is better for you to solve the problem because the subject will not end up by paying the fine.
The complainant may file a case with the court and request to prevent you from travelling.
So, we advise you to deal with the matter wisely and reach a satisfactory agreement with the complainant so as not to worsen things and get out of control.

You will pay a fine regarding the criminal case. And they will file a civil case against you also to get the amount from you.

Hi there,
There are multiple aspects to this case. The landlord can still file the civil and RDC case. He can request for travel ban as well.
After the judgment, you will have to pay the whole amount. So it's better to resolve and present your case properly.
