Q: I was terminated from my company on the accusation of theft. My company said that they have a CCTV footage which they did not present during the committee meeting. There was no money or goods retrieved from me by my company security. They only have my admission.
Since they were telling me that they will send it to the police if I won't admit that happened on 19 March, the committee meeting which was supposed to investigate was held 2 days after.
My company kept me suspended until the 5th of April and handed me the termination letter, which states that I am terminated from the 19th of March.
What are my chances on this? I am so confused right now and I really need help.

Infringement of copyright law (plagiarism) and deportation of the accused
1
Q: I am an Indian citizen. My brother was charged with plagiarism by his employer for which the penalty was AED 20,000.00 to be paid as fine. He paid the fine and was acquitted by the court. He received termination of the case letter and a letter stating that his passport can be handed over to him as there is no further research required.
When he went to collect his passport on 13th June 2017 from the city police, he was detained to be deported in 3-4 days. Since then he is in central jail AD. I have no information of any charges against him. I don't know when will he be deported and why have they still not deported him.
Could you please let us know the deportation procedure and what should be the next step from our side.

Dismissed labor case due to absence: How to re-register it?

1
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
I registered a labor case on February 22, 2023, and paid the court fees. However, I have not received any communication from Dubai Courts since then.
On March 9 at 10:22 PM, I received an email from the Dubai Court stating that the case had been dismissed because the plaintiff (me) had not appeared.
Despite checking my inbox, spam emails, and text messages, I did not receive any notification to appear in court on March 9.
Please advise me on what to do next!

View allRecovery of outstanding payments for breach of contractual obligations 0
Good morning Sir.
I have export perishables to Al Aweer market, and this particular gentleman paid for the first few orders but for the last few he didn't pay. He said tomorrow and it has never come.
I have all the documents and I filed a complaint with Dubai police, and I have the complaint numbers as well. Now, my finances are very bad. If you could recover my money from this man, it will be a great help for my family.
I trust Dubai people and this is what happened to me. If you could get your professional fee and get me the balance, then we can reach an agreement.

How can I check the immigration status of my friend who absconded from Dubai? 0
Hi there,
My friend absconded from Dubai in 2008/2009 leaving behind a small amount of credit card debt in Dubai and also left her employment without resigning properly.
If my friend was to fly to Doha, Qatar would this cause a problem? My friend has never been chased by the UAE bank and has never heard from.
Is it possible to check my friend's immigration status?

Refund of a deposit paid by the underage buyer of real estate property 0
I put a deposit down on two "off-plan" properties. I paid a deposit on both and received a reservation document signed and stamped by the developer.
However, at the time of the deposit, I was under the age of 21 which is the minimum age to purchase property in Dubai. Lastly once the deposit was made I never received an SPA or NOC. Have now been sent a notice by Dubai Land Department on the request of the developers for Property Termination procedure. The request was canceled.
I am now trying to figure out how to get my deposit back as I believe since I was underage and no formal contract was presented or signed, the agreement is void.

View allTerminating an employee after sick leave and claiming compensation 0
Hello,
My employer fired me under Article 44 for not showing up for work for 7 days in a row. But that’s not the case at all. I was sick and the management was aware and they let me go.
I went to another country to get treatment because it’s expensive in Dubai. My employer did not pay me my salary for the month I worked and fired me.
I have official sick leave from another country and there is correspondence where my employer sent me to another country for treatment.
The problem is that the employer says that he will take compensation for the training that was specified in the contract, but I did not undergo training at all; I immediately started work from the first day of work and there was no training.
Does my employer have the right to charge me such a fee and not pay my salary?

How to cancel the MoU to buy an apartment with the broker if the bank did not approve the loan? 0
Hi,
I have a situation where I signed an MoU and gave my security deposit to the seller's agent. However later, the bank valuation of the property is lower than the selling price.
On my MoU, it has a clause that “the buyer has a right to cancel/negotiate if the bank valuation is not the same as MoU.” I tried to negotiate, however, we didn't agree on the price so I asked to cancel.
Now the agent is threatening me that they will not cancel the MoU and that will deposit my cheque. Later I also came to know that the person I am dealing with is not the same person whose name is mentioned as a broker in the MoU.
The agent I am dealing with is constantly messaging me with threats. I decided not to speak to him and instead, I wrote an email to the broker whose name is mentioned on the MoU but received no response.
I am on a very tight timeline as I need to vacate my apartment in 3 weeks, I found another unit but I don't know if I can pursue this while the initial MoU still not canceled.
Please, I need advice.
