Cancellation procedures of employment visa after a criminal case
My company filed a theft criminal case against me in Abu Dhabi.
I did not do anything. The police arrested me and kept me in custody for two days. After that, they held my passport then released me.
Then after two months, my company closed the case, and 1 week before I got my passport back. Now, I want to cancel my visa.
Does the cancellation process need any police clearance certificate or no need?

I understand that there was a criminal case filed by the company against you. I assume the same has been closed after the investigation and you have clear records as of now.
Since you are acquitted you may cancel your visa with the help of your employer, or else, you may proceed to Tasheel for the same.
I do not think you will require a police clearance for the cancellation of visa. However, it would be better if you inquire about the same with Tasheel itself.
