In regard to your query, if you have given 4 security cheques in relation to the 4 cards, then yes it is possible that you may be facing 4 police cases.

Only after filing a criminal case, the bank proceeds to file a civil case.

I would advise that you first inspect the police records to ascertain what cases you have and resolve the same at the earliest.
