Q: Can a bank freeze my gratuity if my new company is not listed?

Q: The bank had held my account 20 days in advance of my EOSB After I got my new visa and salary letter within the UAE. The bank had unfrozen the account but blocked the full amount of EOSB and asked me to provide a confirmation letter, which I feel is totally wrong. My loan amount is even half of my EOSB. Can I approach the banking court of the UAE about freezing the account and holding my EOSB?

Q: My cousin sister has taken a loan from a bank, and she has paid the instalments without any defaults. Recently, both my sister and her husband lost jobs. س: فُصلت من العمل تعسفيًا وحُجزت كل مستحقات نهاية أكثر من سبع سنوات من الخدمة بالإضافة إلى مبلغ التعويض عن الفصل التعسفي وأيضًا مبلغ التعويض عن مهلة الإنذار وكل المستحقات الأخرى؛ مثل راتب آخر شهر في العمل وبدل تذكرة السفر وكذلك بدل ما تبقى من أيام الإجازات المستحقة، وذلك بغرض سداد ما تبقى من مديونية مستحقة للبنك. طلبت من البنك أن يُفرِج عن البدلات المستحقة ويحجز مستحقات نهاية الخدمة فقط وأقوم بسداد بقية المديونية على نفس الأقساط المتفق عليها. هل يمكن أن أحصل على تلك البدلات قانونيًا؟ علمًا بأنني كنت أعمل لدى نفس البنك وفُصلت تعسفيًا.
