Termination during probation for intermittent absences
Good day.
I am terminated under probation period due to intermittent absences. Though I advised them on these days that I was sick. Please advise me on my legal rights.
Thanks.

The first thing to take into consideration is whether you have a limited contract or an unlimited contract?
However, generally speaking, if you were absent for 7 consecutive days or 21 non-consecutive days without any reason and a note from the doctor, your employer can fire you and is not obliged to pay you anything other than your salary for the days you have already worked.
I hope this answers your question, if you have any other questions or concerns, let me know.
