ز.

Hi Z.,

Please note in order to give you details related to the requirements, it is essential to know the business activity which you would like to practise in Bahrain along with the structure of the company, nationalities of partners (if more than one)...etc.

The visa could be provided to you, and yes you will need an office in Bahrain as well, and in the absence of the owners or staff, the company could face problems on the inspection.

Kindly send us an email at help@khalidkhanblog.com so that we can discuss things in details.

Regards,

Khalid

Thank you for responding, Khalid.

To give you a quick intro, it is an eCommerce business that serves as a platform for home designers and property developers to advertise and reach new clients.

The company is owned by two brothers, both Bahrain born, and currently citizens of Sri Lanka.

The platform is already being developed and almost completed, and we are hoping to do a pilot run in the Sri Lankan market before deciding.

Does a business like this qualify for 100% foreign ownership?

Hi,

You can start up your business in Bahrain as a foreigner, but it depends on the activities/business as allowed 100% or 49% to foreigners.

Hence, we need to know the full activities of the company. You do not have to be in Bahrain to start the company as we can do that by a Power of Attorney given to us.

Later, you can get an investor visa since you own a company in Bahrain.
