Avoiding a labour ban upon resignation during probation period
1
Q: I am in my probation period. My visa is a free-zone visa and my contract is an unlimited contract.
The company is giving me additional work which is out of my job description due to the resignation of an old employee.
I am really struggling to complete all the responsibilities including mine and that of the ex-employee.
Can I resign without getting a labour ban? Do I need to pay them anything?

Resignation during the probation period to take another offer

Q: Hi Ahmad,
I hope you're doing good.
I'm contacting you through https://legaladviceme.com/.
My Query is: I'm under a probation period of 6 months with a company based in DMCC, JLT, Dubai. I have an offer letter from a company based in Mainland Dubai.
If I resign from my current employer and accept the offer in the mainland, will there be a chance of any ban or penalty?
Thank you.

Q: Dear Mohammed Beakheet,
Hope you are doing great.
I'm employed in SAIF Free Zone on an unlimited contract for nearly 5 months with a salary of AED 20,000+.
Now I have a job offer from a Dubai mainland company with a better salary.
Can I resign from this company and take the new job without attracting any ban (MOL or employment ban)?
Or I have to wait until I complete 6 months and then resign to avoid the ban?

Transferring the visa after resigning during the probation period
1
Q: Dear Sir,
I am working in RAK at a company called [------]. I have resigned after 2 months during the probation period and my visa is Free Zone (RAKEZ RAK PROPERTIES FZE).
It's been 2 weeks, I resigned and I clearly mentioned in my resignation that my last day will be 31 Dec 19, and I am joining another company immediately.
So kindly let me know how I should cancel my visa by myself through the UAE labour, in case they don't cancel it.

Consequences of resigning during probation period

Q: I am in a Skill Category 1 corporate role in Dubai, on a 2-year limited contract. My probation period is 6 months.
If I want to leave my current role WITHIN the 6-month probation period for another role at a different organization (similar role, but more pay, better/larger organization, better future prospects).
What will be the consequences with my current employer's side or from the UAE government?
Also, how much notice would I have to give? And is there a possibility of a ban of any sort?
My current employer has paid for my relocation from abroad and also all my visa expenses.

Consequences of resigning and changing job while still on probation
1
Q: Hello,
Thank you in advance for your support. I am currently working for a private company in Dubai. I am working here for 4 months and I'm still on probation.
I have received an offer from another company with better pay and benefits. My question is that what are the legal consequences and whether I will have to pay the employer?
Basically, what do I need to keep in mind before I submit my resignation?
Regards

Can I cancel my house sale contract without extra fees after personal plans changed? 0
Dear Lawyers,
I signed a Form F with a buyer for the sale of my house as we were planning to leave the country. The contract was signed about a month ago, but the handover is not until August.
Due to personal circumstances changing, we are no longer leaving Dubai and would like to cancel Form F.
The Form F contract stipulates that we have to pay the buyer 10% of the purchase value. The real estate agent is now claiming that we also have to pay the buyer's real estate commission and the conveyancing fee.
Our understanding is that the 10% penalty is the only penalty. Which is correct, and what are the next steps to dispute this?
Also, is there any way to dispute the 10% itself under the law due to personal circumstances changing?

The owner sent me a notice by email saying that he doesn't want to renew the contract for the purpose of personal use.
He didn't mention what this personal use means. He already has multiple houses for rent and he has his own which he is living in currently.
Is it legal to evict me?
Thanks
