Jurisdiction and governing law clauses in a contract
Hi,
I am a legal trainee in Turkey.
I have a question. Is it possible to select the Turkish law as the applicable law to the contract, where the parties are both in Dubai?

Dear Questioner,
Disputes are inevitable between the Parties. So we shall have proper jurisdiction and governing law clause in the agreement.
The parties may submit themselves to whichever law and whichever jurisdiction exclusive or non-exclusive.
So in your case, even if both parties are in Dubai, they can submit their jurisdiction LCIA or Singapore or anywhere.
