Q: I need your suggestion and advice regarding my case.
I was working in Abu Dhabi and I got an interview call from Dubai. I attended two interviews and I was selected, then I received an offer letter.
Based on that, I resigned from my job and served a one-month notice period. I joined the new company and after eleven days they refused to offer me the job.
Now, I don't know what can I do. I lost my previous job because of them.
I want to know what legal rights I have, and what legal action I can take against the new company.

What to do if your new employer withdrew the employment offer

Q: I got an employment offer from one of the construction companies from Dubai after the personal interview. I signed the employment offer which I received through email and sent back.
Now, after 20 days, they withdrew this offer as per their management decision. I am working in Qatar and I already resigned from my job, and next week I have to leave Qatar.
I don't know what to do. Is there any chance to claim it legally?

Q: Hi,
I am T. H. from Pakistan. I am a software engineer by profession. I want legal advice.
When I was in Pakistan, I applied for a job in the UAE online. A private company sent me an offer letter after online test and interview.
At that time, they wanted to send me a work visa but at the same time, I already have a visit visa for the UAE, so I explained to them that I already have visit visa.
They advised me to avail the visit visa and come to the office so to sign other documents to get ready to change my visa status to employment.
I appeared in the office and then they gave me some 1 week to get accommodation near the office. Within 1 week I told them that I am ready to join, but now they are not giving me any positive answer.
All these conversations are by email. What should I do now? Any advice, please?

Q: I have worked for an employer for 22 days and now he tells me my services are no longer needed. He has not processed my visa and I only have an offer letter from him.
I have been on sites and done his work but he says he doesn't need me and has thrown me out of the company. He is not ready to pay for anything.
My visa status is currently cancelled from my old employer and I'm on the 30 days period now. My wife's visa is on hold in immigration and I don't know what to do.
I want the money for the work that I have done for the past 22 days.
Kindly advise.

The employment steps after getting an offer letter

Q: Hi,
My friend got a job in a restaurant here as a clerk, and the employer gave her a job offer letter and even she did her medical and Emirates ID, there is no stamping from his side.
The employer keeps on saying that his trade license is under process. Does it take 3 months to process? It's more than 3 months that my friend went for issuing medical and Emirates ID.
She is not getting a salary as she has not been told to join as of now. What steps can she take?

By this Decree Ministry of Labour of the UAE has removed the six-month labour ban for those who changed the job before completing two years of service. Labour ban will be still applicable for workers that qualify for skill level 4 and 5 under various circumstances.

Our internal contract has a notice period of 3 months from both parties. In the new labor implementation, only one month's notice is required for less than 5 years of service.
Please advise if we can follow our internal contract since the position is very curtailed and the organization will not be able to replace the position within one month.

Can you please clarify the correct annual leave salary rules?
Some say it is basic + HRA for the month you will take off, others say it is full salary, and somewhere I read it is basic + HRA (annual leave salary) plus the normal salary you get.

How to appeal the labor judgment if the court did not approve all my dues? 0
My employer has not paid my salary for 8.5 months. I went to the labor court, and was referred to Dubai Courts.
The judgment came and I did not receive the full claim including salaries and 3 months' compensation.
