Q: I want to know there's a new law in 2018 about the bank cases if the bank opens a case then makes a travel ban, or they put me in jail… A: In cases of cheques issued by the banks and others, there is a travel ban until the case is settled with the bank either by paying or executing the penalty…

The bank may, if there is a debt exceeding AED 10,000, issue an order preventing the debtor from travelling.

Moreover, in cases of cheques issued by the banks and others, there is a travel ban until the case is settled with the bank either by paying or executing the penalty.
