Claiming deducted salaries from the employer

Good morning,

I have been working for a consultancy firm as a civil engineer/ limited/ 12000 salary.

My company is not paying me since December 2018 and deducting 3000 from my salary every month since June 2018.

I was on a parenting leave for 10 days in Feb. 2019. After I came back, the company asked for my passport. I refused. They stop my work and payment until the time of this question.

Please guide me considering the minimum time required: how will I get my payments and rights?

I am waiting for your kind reply, please.

Dear Questioner,

Did the company ever notify you with regard to the reduction in salary? Have you ever made a written complaint regarding this reduction?

The issue regarding the passport was a verbal one or a written one? I couldn't really understand, what exactly you meant by 'They stop my work and payment until the time of this question'.

I need to get clarity on the facts to advise you accurately. However, you may approach to raise a complaint in Tawafuq by dialing 80060, if your company is mainland or else if the same is a free zone company, with the appropriate free zone labour department.

Thank You.

Kindly note that the employer did not inform for salary reduction. For the passport, my CEO sent a voice message (give the passport to receive the salary) by Whatsapp.

The CEO stopped duty through Whatsapp message I have the record screenshot. It is a mainland company.

Kindly advise
