Claiming unpaid salaries and EOSB before visa cancellation
Hi,
My employer has not paid my salary for the last 4 months. He has asked me to leave the country and stay at home till he pays the dues.
I want to leave Dubai with proper cancellation of my work visa and labour contract after receiving my unpaid salary and EOSB at the earliest possible.
I don’t want to file a court case since I have received another job offer.
Is it possible to file a labour complaint to cancel the visa and labour contract and get unpaid wages then leave Dubai?
Is there any possibility of a travel ban?
Thanks and regards

Dear Questioner,
Thanks for contacting me online.
You can file a labour complaint through Tasheel or Tawafuq for your unpaid salaries and benefits, and if it's not settled from the Ministry of Labour, it will be referred to the labour court.
Once the matter is before the labour court, and if your job offer is still there, you can apply to the court for a temporary work permit or for cancellation of the visa through court. No travel ban will be there for you.
