If someone has a case in the UAE, can they travel to another GCC country?
Q: Hi. One of my friends joined a Telegram group. They said, "We will transfer some amount to your account, and your task is to transfer this amount to another account. Once the task is completed, you will get 30 or 50 AED per task." He completed 3 to 4 tasks, but he realized it was not good, so he stopped. After one week, when he opened his account, it was blocked, and the bank said, "We are conducting an investigation; after this, we will let you know." After some days, he had an accident and went to his home country. He then received a call from a landline number, which was from the Abu Dhabi police station. They said, "We have received a complaint against you; come to our investigation department." However, due to his surgery and treatment, he could not go. After some time, his bank account was reopened, and he did not receive any further calls. I want to know, if he comes back to the UAE or goes to any other GCC country, will he face any problems? If someone has a case in the UAE, can they travel to another GCC country? Please advise!

Can I return to the UAE after an outpass and unpaid fine?
Q: Hello, I had an absconding case, which was later removed. While canceling the visa with my previous employer, who had placed the absconding case, the immigration department informed me that I had a fine of 12,000 AED, and the visa would be canceled once I paid the fine. I didn’t have the money, so they said I could either take an outpass and be banned from the country or pay the fine. I chose the outpass. Now I want to return to the UAE. Is there any way I can come back, and do I still need to pay the fine?

Q: Respected Sir, I am working in a private company in Dubai and I decided to resign from my job after a six-month probation period and a one-month notice period. My employment contract and offer letter do not mention any compensation but a caution deposit is mentioned. Can I reopen a rental case against my tenant after the appeal judgment if it was not in my favor?
Q: Hello I currently have an ongoing case for the non-payment of rent against my tenant. The initial judgment was in my favor but the tenant appealed the decision. However, the tenant uploaded the documents after the session had begun and I was not able to view the documents. The judgment is now postponed but there are fallacies in the documents uploaded by the tenant that I would like to submit in my memorandum to the RDC. I would like to know if there is any way to contact the RDC to upload my memorandum as it is crucial to the case. Secondly, in case the judgment is unfavorable, is there any way to reopen the case after the appeal judgment? Thanks2025/02/12

Q: Dear all, I have bought an apartment. The previous owner had tendered a notarized legal notice to the tenant before selling. Upon purchase, an addendum to the tenancy contract was drafted with the following wording: "No renewal of the tenancy contract is applicable, and the new landlord will be moving in on X date (the date of expiration of the tenancy contract)." Q: I currently live in Sharjah and have a UAE residence visa but I am not a UAE or GCC national.
