Can I get my money back from the seller after a mistake by them and the MoU will expire?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I`m a buyer and came to the final stages of the process, all cheques have been issued and shared. I was pushing developers about NOC (the seller takes things very slowly), and they realized a big mistake in the documents, the Dubai Land Department gave us a Title Deed instead of a Pre-Title Deed. The bank prepared all cheques through that. Our MoU expires in a couple of days. We offer the seller to extend the MOU to provide documents. So whose fault is it? If the seller decides not to continue with the process and not renew the MoU, what would be my rights here? Can I get back my cheques and be covered by the seller legally? Thank you

Can the landlord send me an eviction notice for the reason of renovation?
Q: My eviction notice and tenancy contract will come to an end on 5 May 2024. The reason for eviction is "renovation". The landlord has not submitted any supporting documents to show that the property will be unlivable during the renovation or any approval from Dubai Municipality. I went to the Trustee Center in Al Manara and they said that I can`t open a case against the eviction until after the expiry, however, that doesn`t seem right. I need advice, please. Terminating an employee after sick leave and claiming compensation
Q: Hello, My employer fired me under Article 44 for not showing up for work for 7 days in a row. But that’s not the case at all. I was sick and the management was aware and they let me go. I went to another country to get treatment because it’s expensive in Dubai. My employer did not pay me my salary for the month I worked and fired me. I have official sick leave from another country and there is correspondence where my employer sent me to another country for treatment. The problem is that the employer says that he will take compensation for the training that was specified in the contract, but I did not undergo training at all; I immediately started work from the first day of work and there was no training. Does my employer have the right to charge me such a fee and not pay my salary?

Binance crypto trade scam: Can I recover my money?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I made a mistake and paid someone in Binance to trade crypto for me and give me daily profits, but It turned out to be a scam. He was asking me to pay more to get the profits, but I stopped and I asked him to return my money, but no positive answer. Is there any chance I can get my money back through Binance or the bank? All our communication was through Telegram.

Can wife's abusive messages compromise case against scammer?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, There`s a guy who scammed me out of 150k AED with false documents. There`s already a criminal case ongoing against him; however, I wasn`t aware of it at the time of the dealing. Every time I tried to sort things out with him, he made me wait for hours and didn`t show up. In short, he gave me false hopes, and now he`s been completely out of touch for 4 months. When we were finally able to contact him, my wife sent him abusive messages out of frustration because he was spreading lies about us. Now, with all the evidence I have, I want to file a civil case against him. Could the abusive messages my wife sent backfire in any way? I have all the documents he gave, along with some voice notes where he clearly states that he scammed us with false documents. But this guy is very shrewd. How to speed up a complaint I made against my employer for not paying full notice period and salary?
Q: Hi I made а complaint against my employer for not paying full notice period salary and for due salary (38 days salary) on 02-02-24 and I received a call from the Labor Advisor to research the complaint. Тhereafter, I received one SMS stating that they would contact me again on 05-02-24 at 04:30 pm. But until now, I haven’t received any call or update from the Labor Advisor. A friend took cash and cheque from me for cryptocurrency he never sent and bounced the cheque
Q: It`s a blackmail case. So a few days ago, I needed to buy cryptocurrency in Dubai, and a friend offered he could help me. But I was a little short of money, I mean I wanted to get 20,000 dirhams worth of crypto but had only 15k. So my friend told me it was okay, and he would arrange the 5k for me. So I transferred him 15k in his bank account and for the rest 5k, I gave him a cheque. He was supposed to transfer me crypto by that evening. But 2-3 days passed and he did not send me crypto and he seemed to become very busy, not responding to calls and messages. After a week, I finally got hold of him and then he backfired saying crypto is illegal in Dubai, he can`t help me with this and that, and he started saying I owe him 5k, so I need to clear him for that. He submitted that cheque to the bank and it bounced. Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I have a question about rent renewal for an apartment in Dubai. My contract is up for renewal in 3 months, and I received notification of a 20% rent increase. When attempting to use the Dubai Land rent calculator, I encountered the message: "Rental index data is not available for this period and will be updated later." Data is only available until the end of March. If my contract were up for renewal now and I could use the rent calculator, there would be no increase in rent according to the calculator.
