Can the landlord send me an eviction notice for the reason of renovation?
Q: My eviction notice and tenancy contract will come to an end on 5 May 2024. The reason for eviction is "renovation". The landlord has not submitted any supporting documents to show that the property will be unlivable during the renovation or any approval from Dubai Municipality. I went to the Trustee Center in Al Manara and they said that I can`t open a case against the eviction until after the expiry, however, that doesn`t seem right. I need advice, please. Q: Hi. The court ruled on my labor case AED 12900 on 27 Dec 2023. On 11 Jan 2024 after the Final Ruling, I filed to enforced execution. My employer has deposited 10900 holding 2000. Every time I visit Al Adheed Center they use to say It`s under process or I have to refile paying AED 30. Still, I haven`t received any amount until now. How to avoid overstay fines if the employer is delaying the employment visa process?
Q: My employer had started the labor process while I was overstaying on a visit visa. He gave me a labor card and labor contract. Now I have applied for overstay and absconding fine reduction. I suppose my fine application is approved and I pay them. The company will process the employment visa but the company license is expired and they are not renewing for 2 or 3 months.
