If I am applying for an inheritance, does the minor need to have a share in all the properties and vehicles, or can she be given a particular property? س: السلام عليكم، أعمل في شركة منذ سنة ونصف. في البداية حصلت على عرض عمل ولكن لم تصدر إقامه لوجود حظر على الشركة. صدرت منذ 4 أشهر إقامة لي على شركة أخرى يملكها صاحب الشركة التي أعمل بها بسبب الحظر على الشركة التي أعمل بها، ولكن لم أحصل على شهادة عدم ممانعة (إعارة). الآن أريد تقديم استقالتي والانتقال إلى وظيفة جديدة. ما الإجراءات؟ وهل تُطبّق عقوبات ضدي لأنني لم أكمل 6 أشهر على الإقامة أو أي عقوبات أخرى؟ أسئلة وأجوبة

Landlord lied to evict tenants for higher rent: Is legal action worth it?
Q: Dear Questioner, Abusing tenant trust for fake eviction! We are based in Dubai and have had a good three-year relationship with our landlord, who is in Abu Dhabi. The building had a lot of maintenance issues, and I always kept him informed about the increasing problems. Six months before the contract expiry date, the landlord visited us and said: "I have decided to return to Dubai with my family. Thanks to our relationship since 2020 and the problems you`re facing in the building, I assume this is okay for you. I don`t want to send a legal notice. Can you please send me an email for eviction?" As we knew the family and trusted them, we accepted their request. However, after moving out, I saw that he was renting the house for a higher rent! Is it worth initiating a legal case, as he lied to us? By chance, in my email to him, I mentioned that "we are leaving as you told us that you`re moving into your house," and he responded positively. UAE visa sponsor demands money for NOC: What can I do?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My employer is harassing me. I came from Pakistan to the UAE for a computer operator job through a Pakistani agency paying 6.5 lakh PKR, but my sponsor has no company in the UAE; it is only for visas. I am working in another company and another job. Now my sponsor demands 300 AED per month or 4500 AED for an NOC; otherwise, he said he will cancel my work visa and I will have to apply for a new work visa under compulsion. What can I do? هل يُلزم كفيلُي الجديد بتعويض صاحب العمل السابق؟
س: سيدي/سيدتي العزيزة، استقلتُ من شركتي خلال فترة الاختبار في المنطقة الحرة بالحمرية بالشارقة. وأخطرتُ شركتي كتابيًا قبل 30 يومًا عبر البريد الإلكتروني الرسمي. بعد 21 يومًا من انتهاء فترة الإشعار، أبلغني صاحب العمل شفهيًا بالتوقف عن العمل، وأن تسليم العمل كافٍ. فأرسلتُ على الفور بريدًا إلكترونيًا إلى صاحب العمل لتأكيد ما أبلغني به. بعد 3 أيام من التوقف عن العمل، أرسل لي صاحب العمل بريدًا إلكترونيًا يُفيد برفض استقالتي لعدم وجود سبب وجيه للاستقالة. لم يُلغِ صاحب العمل تأشيرتي رغم مرور شهر. وقد رفعتُ دعوى قضائية في المحكمة، وجلسة الاستماع في 23 أكتوبر (أي بعد شهر واحد من انتهاء فترة الاختبار، إذا كانت مدتها 6 أشهر). ماذا يُمكنني أن أتوقع الآن؟ إذا ألغى صاحب العمل تأشيرتي بعد جلسة المحكمة، فهل يُلزم كفيلُي الجديد بتعويض صاحب العمل السابق؟2023/10/11

س: سيدي/سيدتي العزيزة، أعيش في دبي. كنت أعمل سابقًا في شركة كهرباء خاصة. أرسلتُ استقالتي عبر البريد الإلكتروني إلى شركتي في 8 أغسطس 2023. بعد محادثة هاتفية مع مديري، وافق على إلغاء تأشيرتي بعد الانتهاء من الموقع الحالي. مع ذلك، تلقيتُ بريدًا إلكترونيًا في 6 أكتوبر 2023، يُفيد بضرورة إكمال فترة إشعار مدتها 3 أشهر. وافق مديري على إلغاء تأشيرتي شفهيًا فقط، وليس لديّ أي دليل كتابي. حاولتُ الاتصال به عدة مرات، لكنه لم يُجب. ينص عقدي على أن فترة الإشعار هي 3 أشهر. ماذا أفعل الآن؟
