How do I fight false forgery claims from my estranged husband over a car sale he approved in jail?
Q: Dear Lawyers, My estranged husband filed a false criminal complaint against me out of revenge. He claims I forged his signature for a car sale that he fully agreed to while in jail in 2022 but now denies out of spite. He was arrested in 2022 on drug trafficking charges and imprisoned at Al Barsha Jail. He agreed to sell our car (registered in his name), so I had a Power of Attorney (POA) drafted, which he signed while in jail. When I attempted to have it notarized, I was informed that the POA had to be processed from jail. I notified him, and he instructed me to proceed with the sale, assuring me he would finalize the paperwork after his release. The buyer, a family friend, took the damaged car (with flat tires, a dead engine, and a dead battery) based on trust and my husband’s verbal agreement. Now that he has been released, he denies agreeing to the sale and is falsely accusing me of forgery because I have refused to meet with him. He has physically abused me multiple times and has used threats of violence against my family to stop me from leaving. Please, I need legal advice on how to fight these false charges.

Suing a salon for damages after a pedicure resulted in severe injury and distress
Q: Hello, I am wondering how I can sue or report a ladies` salon in Abu Dhabi for physical and emotional distress after a pedicure led to urgent care for a severe infection. I was prescribed antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medication, painkillers, and given an injection in my buttocks. I am now on crutches and unable to walk. A week after the pedicure, I underwent surgery to have my nail and skin surgically removed as a result. I spoke with the salon the day after my appointment when my foot swelled up and I went to the hospital. The technician refused to let me speak to the owner and begged me not to report her. I am extremely distressed and fed up, and I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. I have all my medical records, proof of payment to the salon, and WhatsApp messages between myself and the salon discussing my toe. What legal grounds do I have to sue the salon for damages? Q: My wife has a license in Dubai. Later we took one partner for 50% of her license. My wife signed the MOU in Amer Center without reading the changes made by him in terms that were not agreed upon. Later when we checked the copy of the MOU, we found that he had removed her name as a manager and put his name. He mentioned 50% shareholder for each partner in the company but in profit and loss, he mentioned 75% for him and 25% for her and bank account authority also he took solely. We asked him to change the terms as we never discussed or agreed on those terms. But he has now full control of the license and is not ready to change the MOU terms. Can I receive EOSB after my visa cancellation with MOHRE if I didn't claim it?
Q: Dear Lawyers, I complained to MOHRE to cancel my visa, and I did not claim my EOSB (gratuity and leave salary) as I was thinking I would file a separate complaint for it. Q: Dear. I gave a brand and expensive watch to an agent for service. Only `normal service` at the beginning of 2024. They gave me an estimate and completion time and on this basis, I agreed. Later, they changed the price for service and time for completion many times without my agreement, I told them this was not acceptable because I already agreed and given my watch. Until now, my watch is not done and they have not replied to me with an update or anything. I have already reported this to consumer protection in Dubai. They already spoke to them but no use and told me I could try legal action if I wanted. I am confused and cannot believe a famous shop can do this with a business license and take valuables like this. Kindly give me an idea of what I can do. I have all communications in email and sms.
