How to close a police case and lift travel ban if the public prosecution does not respond?
Q: Good day, We are waiting for the final decision of the pubic prosecutor from the headquarters.The police officer told us to wait for 2 days for the response but already 2 weeks still no response. There is a decision already made by the pubic prosecutor. In the police station and the office, they told us to wait for the final decision from the headquarters. Actually, we need to close the police case to remove the travel ban given to us, as the police officer put us a travel ban while the police case was still open and he can only remove when the police case is closed. No criminal case if it happened. What happens to the case if the public prosecutor (headquarters) did not respond to the request for the final decision?

What can I do if the developer canceled my unit and did not refund my deposit?
Q: Hi, I paid a 24% deposit and 4% DLD and my SPA was voided the next day after I signed the SPA. After many emails and telephone calls to the developer, I was told that due to some issues with the booking, they could not proceed with the unit I booked. They were offering an alternative unit about 20 floors lower or a bigger unit at a higher price. Both alternatives were not acceptable. The developer then said that they would cancel and refund the money. I was waiting for their email to confirm this and was wondering what I could do if the developer did not return all the money. Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My employer signed an offer letter from a different company, adding a clause stating that if the employee resigns, he needs to give one month`s notice and refund AED 5000 as visa charges. However, I have already signed a contract from another company and received my EID, with no such clause mentioned. Now that I resign by giving one month`s notice, my employer has not paid any salary or benefits even after completing one year and three months. Additionally, they are demanding AED 5000. Q: I was detained by the Dubai Police for a false case against me by a company before 7 years and later the case was withdrawn by the company as they realized it was a false case. Will it reflect in my criminal record? I have applied for a clear criminal certificate for a new job. If I get that in my record I will not be getting the job. How to solve this?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My landlord evicted me on the basis that he was selling the property. I have recently discovered that he did not sell and re-rented the property three months after I moved out, with a rental increase of AED 75,000 per year above what I was paying. It was very disruptive, and I was forced to move to a smaller property, incurring unnecessary costs as a result. This occurred approximately one year ago; however, I believe I have all the required evidence and supporting documentation. My question: Am I able to raise a case against my former landlord and seek compensation? If yes, what costs do I incur? If I am successful, how is the compensation calculated? What can I do with a vacation homes company if they sublet my property and their cheques bounced?
Q: I signed the tenancy renewal contract with vacation homes company and now that company cheques are getting bounced. This company doesn’t have a proper address and they subleased my apartment to a Russian family for 07 months. Can you please advise if I need to send a legal notice which address shall I send the notice to the partner of the company address or shall I ask Tableegh or Aramex to drop and paste the letter on my lease property? Please advise what is the legal procedure to send the legal notice. Shall I ask Aramex or Tableegh to send the legal notice via email but this Dubai court will accept? How to cancel the MoU to buy an apartment with the broker if the bank did not approve the loan?
Q: Hi, I have a situation where I signed an MoU and gave my security deposit to the seller`s agent. However later, the bank valuation of the property is lower than the selling price. On my MoU, it has a clause that “the buyer has a right to cancel/negotiate if the bank valuation is not the same as MoU.” I tried to negotiate, however, we didn`t agree on the price so I asked to cancel. Now the agent is threatening me that they will not cancel the MoU and that will deposit my cheque. Later I also came to know that the person I am dealing with is not the same person whose name is mentioned as a broker in the MoU. The agent I am dealing with is constantly messaging me with threats. I decided not to speak to him and instead, I wrote an email to the broker whose name is mentioned on the MoU but received no response. I am on a very tight timeline as I need to vacate my apartment in 3 weeks, I found another unit but I don`t know if I can pursue this while the initial MoU still not canceled.
