Can I resign from the job I just joined a week ago?
Can I resign from the job I just joined a week ago?
Do I have to pay compensation?
Can I work in other places?

Dear questioner
If you have signed the MOHRE contract, then you are required to serve the notice period.
If you are going to join a new company, then the new employer is under obligation to cover the visa cost or any other expenses met by your current employer.
If you have not signed any MOHRE Labor Contract, then you only need to send a termination letter and then you can leave. So no need to pay any compensation.
Dear Inquirer
We are pleased to serve you and address your inquiries.
It is possible to resign and work during the resignation period, and if you join another job, your old employer has the right to request compensation.
If anything else is required, don’t hesitate to contact us via email or call our offices in Dubai or Sharjah.
