My bank accounts were blocked in the execution of cheque criminal cases. How to unblock them?
Q: I urgently need legal assistance in Dubai. I`m facing multiple execution cases, a criminal complaint for a bounced cheque, and several personal debts under agreements. The total amount is around AED 500,000. Due to execution orders, my UAE bank accounts are blocked, some with negative balances from cheque enforcement, making it impossible to use them for settlements. I do have international accounts and can withdraw up to AED 35,000 per day, of which I am ready to allocate AED 30,000 daily for settlements and legal fees. I am looking for a licensed lawyer or firm that can represent me in all these cases, negotiate with creditors, assist in making payments (either via courts, banks, or through your office), and provide a clear roadmap to resolve everything. I also need guidance on how long banks will take to unblock accounts and clear negative balances after settlement. If I pay the bank directly, will the accounts be immediately restored and cases closed? Please share your fee estimate.

Q: We went to the hospital for an emergency and stayed for 3 days, then, before leaving, they asked us to pay 10% as per our insurance policy. After 2 weeks, they informed us that the insurance policy covers only 2k, and we have to pay 3.2k, the balance I was not informed about before. Q: Hello, I have filed a cheating case in the Dubai Misdemeanor Court (initial complaint at Raffa Police Station). Hearings have not yet started. I now have credible information that the accused plans to dispose of his business to avoid repayment. I want to file, within the same criminal case: - A petition to freeze the transfer/sale of the business. - A petition for civil recoverability through the criminal proceedings. What can our company do if the client cancelled the order and threatened to file a case for the cancellation fee?
Q: Salaam Alekum We had a client from the US who had an agreement with us for 19-20 big buses for 20 days of transport service in KSA. They cancelled 12 buses and then the entire order 2-3 days before the event. They paid around 25% of the total cost initially agreed on 50% before the event. We have been keeping those buses on hold for more than 1 month, not taking other bookings, and facing losses. My company is charging them 50% cancellation fees because of last-minute cancellation, but now the client is threatening us to take legal action and doing PR advisement by asking for the deposit they paid. Our policy is refund will be issued within 45 days after internal investigation, but the client is threatening us again. We don`t give a refund if the cancellation is done by the client and mentioned on the invoice as well. In this case, we are considering a solution which takes time. What can we do in this situation, as we have already faced lots of loss?

Q: An "A" individual / Company by mistake transfers/deposits some funds to another "B" company. "B" company, despite certain follow-up efforts with "A" Company to recall or claim back the wrong payment, remained unresponsive, and “A" company could not track the depositor information. Q: My friend and I gave 31500 dhs to a lady in Dubai who is also a Canadian citizen. She approached us as a travel agent for a Canadian visit visa and a fake appointment letter for a job, too. I made a complaint about my stolen money and could not attend the hearing. Will I be penalized?
Q: Salaam alaikum, I made a complaint at the police station in Barsha about my stolen money 2 months ago. I left the country for a short while soon after that, but since I don`t know the process, I got missed calls from Dubai prosecution and a message from them to visit them on June 15th. I didn`t go since I was outside the UAE, and when I called them back, no one answered the call. Anyhow, 3 days ago, the Dubai Public Prosecution portal shows the person was sentenced for theft, and I also got a message that a judgment has been passed. I just want to know if I`ll be penalised for not attending prosecution, or stopped at immigration when I`m returning. Jazakallah Khair!+6

Can I get my overstay fines waived after a case was recently closed?
Q: Hi, I would like to seek legal assistance. I am currently overstaying due to a complaint registered against me last year, which was not closed even after it was settled. Only today, I received a letter from Dubai Prosecution about the lifting of my travel ban and the closure of the case. Is there any way I can file to claim a waiver for my fines or at least a fine reduction? I only came to know about this case/complaint when I was trying to renew my visa last April, and due to this, I was not able to renew it on time. Please assist. Thank you!
