Q: I have a marital dispute with my wife in Kerala, India. I lost my parents last year and I have given the power of attorney to my mother`s sister in Kerala. Now my wife is threatening me through WhatsApp and emails and demanding money. She was under my family visa and three months back I canceled the same, and she is currently in India for the last 1 year. My concern is if she comes here with a visit visa and makes any issues, what legal help can I get as per the UAE law?

Suppose a person gets into a car accident, and the accident report states that they are not at fault, with the medical report showing minimal injuries. Where should the claim be filed? Is it filed with the insurance company of the party at fault? If the insurance company fails to provide adequate compensation, what is the next step? Should a civil claim be filed in Dubai court, or is there an insurance claim authority to handle this? If the insurance authority also fails to provide compensation, is an appeal made to the court? Additionally, how much compensation can be requested for minimal injuries, what types of compensation can be claimed, and what kind of proof is required?

Can I re-enter the UAE if I left without canceling my visa after my company went bankrupt?
Q: Hi, I left Abu Dhabi in 2020 and did not cancel my residence visa because I wanted to return. However, our company suddenly declared bankruptcy, and I have no chance to return to the UAE. Am I allowed to enter the UAE again without a cancellation paper? Thanks!

My employment contract with the company is not signed by me. Is it still considered valid?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I am a tennis coach in Dubai. I have been with my company for 9 months and am seeking to resign. I have been approached for a position with another company. I am yet to receive an offer of employment. I would like to enquire if the issues I have with my company as stated below are legal: 1. My original employment contract between myself and the company is not signed by me. Is it deemed valid? 2. Can I terminate the tenancy contract is the tenant did not pay on the agreed time?
Q: I have a property to rent in Dubai and found someone to rent it. He paid the deposit and both parties signed contracts. The move-in date was the 12 September and he stated that he would pay the three cheques on the 12 September by 2.00 pm. No payment arrived on 12 September so we are planning to pull out. He did send a picture of 2 cheques and offered to make a payment late last night online for the first payment. No Ejari was registered as yet Can I pull out as the cheques were not delivered as agreed even though he offered late last night to pay the first installment online? The last online payment he made took 3 days to arrive in the account. I want to legally pull out. How do I do this and can I do it without any penalty? Does he lose his deposit and can he make a claim against me? If so, what does his legal action look like, i.e. what can he do? Regards+6

Q: Hi, I was part of a trading license that was used only for the visas of two partners, with no business activity. Now, the license is about to expire, and I need to close the company. The parents of the deceased partner are not cooperating, and the second partner is also not interested. Is an eviction notice still valid without an Ejari if it's based solely on a tenancy contract?
Q: Dear Lawyers, I rented a property to an individual. During the last contract renewal, I sent a notarized eviction notice along with the contract. The contract is due to expire in 2 months, as will the notice period. The tenant did not request an Ejari, and we did not create one. My question is, would the court eviction document still hold without an Ejari, based solely on the tenancy contract?
