Tenant always late with payments, hasn't renewed contract. What to do?
Q: Hello, I have a tenant who is always late with their payment. Their renewal was supposed to be last December 2023. Currently, they have not signed any new contract, provided any new cheques, and have stayed for three months from December until now without paying rent. Additionally, I just discovered that they have sublet the apartment with partitions, which is clearly stated as not allowed in the old contract. Can I file a complaint against my company for delaying my salary 5 months?
Q: Hello, I have been working in the UAE as an expatriate for the past 7 months in a company but they are delaying my salary for multiple months. I have pending salaries of 4-5 months, and no proper response while asking. They didn`t provide medical insurance also to the employees as per the UAE labor law. All the employees have had these salary delay issues for the past 3-4 years. They are not fulfilling the salary increments or whatever benefits they accepted during the interview. I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning issue regarding the unauthorized exploitation of our system`s free trial option by an unknown individual who has been engaging in deceptive practices to gain access to our services. As per our partner`s recent findings, it has come to our attention that an individual has been repeatedly abusing our free trial option by utilizing various, email addresses, and mobile numbers to gain unauthorized access to our services. It has been determined that this individual has been utilizing our facilities to engage in these activities. We don`t have his personal details. What can I do if the developer canceled my unit and did not refund my deposit?
Q: Hi, I paid a 24% deposit and 4% DLD and my SPA was voided the next day after I signed the SPA. After many emails and telephone calls to the developer, I was told that due to some issues with the booking, they could not proceed with the unit I booked. They were offering an alternative unit about 20 floors lower or a bigger unit at a higher price. Both alternatives were not acceptable. The developer then said that they would cancel and refund the money. I was waiting for their email to confirm this and was wondering what I could do if the developer did not return all the money. صاحب العمل يطالب بدفع تكاليف التدريب. هل هذا قانوني؟
س: السلام عليكم، أعمل في القطاع الخاص بعقد عمل سنوي محدد المدة (عقد داخلي ودوام جزئي). قدمت استقالتي قبل انتهاء العقد بشهر وذكرت في رسالة الاستقالة أنني سأدفع بدل فترة الإخطار. صاحب العمل أخبرني أنه يجب عليّ دفع مبلغ 5 آلاف درهم كلفة تدريب وقد وقعت على ذلك في العقد وأنا أظن ذلك، لكنني في الواقع لم أتلقَّ أيَّ تدريب من جهة ثالثة، فقد علمني الشخص السابق في مكاني بشأن العمل فقط. لذلك هل يحق له فعل ذلك؟ وإن لم أدفع المبلغ له، فماذا يمكنه أن يفعل؟ شكرًا لك! أسئلة وأجوبة
