Q: Hi, Good morning! I have some questions. I have an ongoing assault case against a person. The person is out on bail and told the court that he would resolve the issue with me, but he hasn`t. Question 1: Should I attend the hearing and inform the respected judge that my problem is unresolved, requesting a judgment? Question 2: How should I attend the hearing? Question 3: If a judgment is passed against the accused person, will he go to jail or will both of us be deported to our home countries?

How can I get my promised cash back from the real estate agent if he left the company?
Q: An agent from a company in the housing space promised me 3% cash back from the brokerage if I booked the house through him. He has sent this understanding over email from his company email. He also paid 2% but before he paid the remaining 1% he left the company. Now despite sending numerous emails, the company is not responding. I put a bad review on Google and their lawyer warned me for a complaint with Dubai police. I removed my review as not sure of the laws. Tell me my next steps and whether the review can get me in trouble. Also, can I go to the police with the email to get support?

How to extend the MOU while unable to log in to the broker application due to system issues?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I am a registered broker, and due to some system issues, I`m unable to log in to my broker application. I kept calling the land department, but nobody responded in time. This is why I couldn`t extend the MOU, and it expires on Sunday. Will it still be valid on the next working day for transfer if both parties mutually agree? Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I rented a flat in 2020 with Ejari through an agent, and the next year, in 2021, the owner decided to deal directly with me but without Ejari. I went to RERA, and they said there was a case on the flat and I had to contact the owner. Now, after 4 years, the owner is asking me to evict the flat in 2 months as he is going to sell it. He even increased the rent last year. What are my rights?

Can the new landlord evict us instantly for violating the "family use only" clause?
Q: Good Afternoon, We rent around 50 apartments for hotel staff accommodation in Dubai. This building has been sold to another person. The new owner is asking us to evacuate the building as soon as possible because he is selling these apartments. We have had the same accommodation since last year. Now, he is using a point mentioned in the contract: "3. This flat is for (Family Use Only), otherwise, the landlord has all rights to vacate the tenant from the property instantly and the tenant loses his/her rights and all the benefits under this lease, and the tenant agrees to this term. Pets not allowed." My question is: Does he have the right to force us to leave, and what is the grace period allowed for us to evacuate the apartments? Our current contract expires in January 2025. Should we vacate at the end of our tenancy or rely on the new owner's title deed date?
Q: Hi there! Our landlord sold the apartment we are currently staying in. We were aware they were on sale, but we never received any legal notice about it. We only received the title deed under the new owner`s name and issued the rest of the cheques to him.
