However, my partner asked me (by WhatsApp) not to send the meeting announcement through a registered letter to his address. Is it legal to send it by email instead of a registered letter?

How to choose the governning law of a contract if each party signed it in their jurisdiction?

Q: The case is that the parties did not agree on the governing law of the contract and the parties are residing in different countries. Also, the contract was concluded by each party in its country. Can I get my money back from the seller after a mistake by them and the MoU will expire?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I`m a buyer and came to the final stages of the process, all cheques have been issued and shared. I was pushing developers about NOC (the seller takes things very slowly), and they realized a big mistake in the documents, the Dubai Land Department gave us a Title Deed instead of a Pre-Title Deed. The bank prepared all cheques through that. Our MoU expires in a couple of days. We offer the seller to extend the MOU to provide documents. So whose fault is it? If the seller decides not to continue with the process and not renew the MoU, what would be my rights here? Can I get back my cheques and be covered by the seller legally? Thank you

Terminating an employee after sick leave and claiming compensation

Q: Hello, My employer fired me under Article 44 for not showing up for work for 7 days in a row. But that’s not the case at all. I was sick and the management was aware and they let me go. I went to another country to get treatment because it’s expensive in Dubai. My employer did not pay me my salary for the month I worked and fired me. I have official sick leave from another country and there is correspondence where my employer sent me to another country for treatment. The problem is that the employer says that he will take compensation for the training that was specified in the contract, but I did not undergo training at all; I immediately started work from the first day of work and there was no training. Does my employer have the right to charge me such a fee and not pay my salary?

The new landlord is requesting changes and a new deposit. What to do?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My landlord renewed the contract with me just a couple of weeks before expiry and collected a single cheque out of the 2 agreed upon. However, after 1 month, he sold the property without my knowledge. Now the new landlord is asking me to sign a contract with him as the previous one is not valid since he is the new landlord. Additionally, the new landlord is asking me to change the terms and conditions and pay a new security deposit as the original landlord has not returned it.

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, We are at the final stages of the process, with our MoU expiring while waiting for the NOC. All cheques have been issued and shared. In the MoU, we have a couple of additional conditions regarding the seller`s obligation to obtain the NOC and a penalty of 10% for defaulting on either side. Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I am a buyer. I signed the property sales contract manually. Then the agent sent the document to the seller, who signed it and sent a snapshot of all the pages. There is no digital contract signed form F. The seller had a bank loan, which he cleared, and was waiting for a relieving letter. The contract`s last day has passed. Now he is reluctant to sell.
