Blacklisted in Dubai: How to lift the travel ban to get an employment visa?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I am currently in Dubai on a visit visa and have been searching for a job for the past eight months. Recently, I found out that a bank has filed a civil case against me due to a bounced check, which has resulted in a travel ban and blacklisting. Because of the blacklisting, I am unable to obtain an employment visa, and this is not helping both myself and the bank in terms of repaying the outstanding amount. Is there any way to remove the blacklisting so that I can obtain an employment visa and start repaying the outstanding amount in installments? Thanks! أسئلة وأجوبة

I left the UAE with a pending credit card. How to check possible cases or travel ban?
Q: Hello Sir. I used to work in the UAE for around more than 20 years until 2010, since I lost my job I left Dubai in the same year. I had a credit card from a bank and when I left, there was a very small amount that I had to pay to the bank. I still continued to pay whatever I could even after coming back to my country, I was unemployed though. After a few months, the bank stopped communicating with me. I also came to know the particular bank I dealt with had been sold to another company. Since I would like to visit Dubai, I like to know if there is any ban on me to enter the country. Check-in refusal at a Dubai hotel. How to take legal action?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, We are from the UK. We made a pre-booking at a hotel in Dubai for eight days. We paid for the entire stay online and received a confirmation text from the hotel for our reservation from March 21st, 2023 at 12:00 am to March 29th, 2023. However, upon our arrival at 2:00 pm today, the staff informed us that rooms are only available at 2:00 pm and requested we pay an additional 360 dirhams for an extra day or wait until the following day. Despite a lengthy conversation, the staff did not provide us with a room, and my wife, one-year-old daughter, and I had to spend the night in the hallway. Requirements for receiving money in our company from an investor
Q: We are expecting to receive an investment of around 1M from a person as part of our board meeting. The person`s name is not mentioned in our trade license, he will transfer the amount to the company bank account, from his personal account. So can you please advise me, in the future will the recipient bank ask for any documents/correspondences or do we need to make any legal agreement with him as per the UAE norms? Can you renew your visa if you have a pending case for credit card?
Q: Good morning. I would like to ask if an individual can renew his or her visa if she/he has a case for having payments on a credit card. Since October 2022, monthly dues were not paid but monthly she/he is paying the minimum amount of 1000 to 700. Now one month is missed. He keeps on requesting an extension but unfortunately no response and no confirmation from the bank and third party. Currently, he was receiving notifications in WhatsApp and in the mail that he needs to settle his credit payment by today. But unfortunately, he doesn`t have yet the amount to pay. 30k is the outstanding payable amount on the card. As per the notification, a travel ban might be implemented and the account name will be blacklisted if he can`t pay today itself. What should be the steps to be done?
