Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I am currently working as a light vehicle driver at a taxi corporation for a year. Despite performing well at my job, my monthly salary was only 1 AED last month. My wife is unwell, and the salary I receive is insufficient to cover her medical expenses or match my financial needs. This situation is causing significant confusion and distress. I want to quit my job and return to my home country, but I don`t have money to cover payments. I find myself in a very helpless situation. Will our company be liable for accidents of workers who are sponsored by another company?
Q: Hi, I am running a startup company in a home renovation business. We have some laborers coming on a daily basis and working on the site and they are paid on a daily basis. Our company is not their sponsor and we simply hire them for a few days to do some labor work. The question is during the work (e.g., while drilling or demolishing) if something happens to one of these laborers, will we be responsible? given they are not directly employed or sponsored by us, should they have their own health insurance while working? How can we protect the business?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I had submitted an urgent request through the Al Adheed Centre to seek alimony/maintenance from my husband for the expenses of myself and my son. Our court case has been ongoing for a while, and we are not currently living together. As of now, my husband has not been providing any maintenance. Today, the judgment was delivered, and the judge stated, "The person against whom the claim is made shall be notified for comment" (يخطر المعروض ضده للتعقيب). What does this mean?
