How to cancel a visa without sponsor in Dubai?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I want to cancel my visa. I am unable to contact my sponsor, so I visited the nearby Amer center. They advised me to cancel my visa from the labor department first. How do I do that? I was also informed that my labor ID has not been renewed for almost 2 years. Is that possible? I have a fine, but I don`t know how to ask for a waiver.

A tenant refuses to renew the tenancy contract with new conditions. What to do?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I sent a renewal notice to my Dubai tenant with more than 3 months advance. In the renewal, I adjusted the rental increase as per RERA of 5% and requested a change in payment conditions from 4 to 2 cheques. The tenant agreed to the new amount but did not agree to the new payment conditions because, according to him, the provisions to change the terms in the contract allowed by RERA were only suggestions and not enforceable. Therefore, the contract renewal has not yet gone forward because we do not agree with his interpretation. While consulting our options, RERA updated the rental increase for the area from 5% to 15% since the tenant is paying well below market price. We sent the tenant a new proposal with the updated RERA-allowed increase of 15%, offering back payments of 4 cheques. The tenant refused again, arguing that the new proposal is not applicable since we are now out of the 90-day previous notification window required. Please advise our options!2023/07/26

كيف يمكنني المطالبة باسترداد الأموال من شركة الهجرة بعد فشلها في الوفاء بالتزاماتها؟
س: مرحبا، أنا ر. من لندن. أكتب لطلب المساعدة القانونية بشأن الاحتيال في الهجرة. لقد وقعت عقدًا مع شركة تسمى [-----]، ومقرها دبي تحت إشراف دائرة التنمية الاقتصادية. لقد ادعوا أنهم يستطيعون الحصول لي على وظيفة برعاية في غضون 6 أشهر وإذا لم يحدث ذلك، فسأكون مستحقًا لاسترداد الأموال بالكامل. ولكنهم ضللوني في مناسبات متعددة. لقد أرسلوا لي أولاً فرص العمل الأولية في مالطا وعندما أشرت إليهم، اعتذروا وأرسلوا لي طلبات عمل في لندن. عندما انتهت فترة الستة أشهر، طلبت استرداد الأموال وزعموا أنها لم تمر بعد ستة أشهر حيث لم يتم تضمين عطلات نهاية الأسبوع وفترة العطلات (عطلات العيد، إلخ) في فترة الستة أشهر. ثم أرسلوا لي بريدًا إلكترونيًا منفصلاً يشرح ذلك على الرغم من أنه لم يتم ذكره في أي مكان في العقد. لقد مر أكثر من 8 أشهر وما زالوا يرفضون رد الأموال. الرجاء مساعدتي بخصوص هذا الأمر. أريد استعادة أموالي.2023/07/25

الاعتراض على تنفيذ حكم إذا لم يحضر أحد الأطراف جلسات المحاكمة
س: السلام عليكم، كيف أعترض على تنفيذ حكم صادر من مركز فض المنازعات الإيجارية في خصومة لم تنعقد ولم أحضر بصفتي ممثلاً للشركة المحكوم عليها أيٍ من جلسات المحاكمة؟ لم أُعلَن أصلاً بصحيفة الدعوى الابتدائية ولا بالحكم الصادر فيها، ولم أُعلَن بصحيفة الاستئناف ولا بحكم الاستئناف أيضًا. علمًا بأنه خلال جميع جلسات المحاكمة، بما فيها جلسة النطق بالحكم، لم تكن الشركة المحكوم عليها من ضمن أطراف الدعوى. كما وأن الحكم الصادر في الدعوى لم يُشر إلى حضور المحكوم عليها ولم يبين إذا ما كان الحكم حضوريًا أو بمثابة الحضوري. ما موقف الشركة القانوني في هذه الحالة؟2023/07/23
