I took a loan from a friend and paid him in cash. He filed a police complaint for the money. What to do?
Q: I took a friendly loan amounting to 3000 from my friend 3 years back, which I paid back a few days ago in cash as he was a friend. Now, he is in desperate need of money and wants me to sell data to which I said no and I started avoiding taking his calls or answering him on WhatsApp. He kept on asking for the payment which I already paid only a few days back. Now he has filed a police complaint stating mental harassment due to non-payment of the friendly loan. He is using the WhatsApp messages that were sent before I paid the money. What can I do now? And do I need to worry?

Will our company be liable for accidents of workers who are sponsored by another company?
Q: Hi, I am running a startup company in a home renovation business. We have some laborers coming on a daily basis and working on the site and they are paid on a daily basis. Our company is not their sponsor and we simply hire them for a few days to do some labor work. The question is during the work (e.g., while drilling or demolishing) if something happens to one of these laborers, will we be responsible? given they are not directly employed or sponsored by us, should they have their own health insurance while working? How can we protect the business?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I had submitted an urgent request through the Al Adheed Centre to seek alimony/maintenance from my husband for the expenses of myself and my son. Our court case has been ongoing for a while, and we are not currently living together. As of now, my husband has not been providing any maintenance. Today, the judgment was delivered, and the judge stated, "The person against whom the claim is made shall be notified for comment" (يخطر المعروض ضده للتعقيب). What does this mean?
