How can I avoid a cheque case and travel ban by the flat owner who failed to fulfill his obligations?
Hello Ma’am/Sir
Have a good day!
What will I do if someone is blackmailing me because my cheques are with him for last year?
I gave them to him because he said he would transfer the flat under my name. I gave him money also then after 3 months, he told me the flat could not be renewed.
I can’t take the money that I gave to him, and that’s why I’m not paying his bills now. He is harassing me to pay his bills or else he will use my cheques.
Please help me with what I will do. I will travel in March 2025 but I don’t know if they will allow me to go to my country.
I hope anyone can help me with this.
Thanks
Dear questioner
We can send a legal notice for returning the cheques and even initiate a case against him if the payments are already completed and the cheques are unnecessarily held by him.
If you need further clarification, kindly share your Whatsapp number.
Keep records of all communication with this person, including messages, emails, recordings of phone calls (if you have any), and any proof of the agreement regarding the flat and the money you gave him. This is crucial evidence.
Go to the nearest police station in Dubai and file a formal complaint against this person for blackmail and extortion.
Provide all the evidence you have gathered. Explain the entire situation clearly and calmly. We will discuss the possibilities in detail.
