Q: I had a court case in 2019. I paid 52500 dhs to the bank after settlement. The bank gave me a no-liability certificate but is very slow in withdrawing the case to get clearance from the court and submit it to the police station. I need to go to Abu Dhabi as soon as possible. Can I apply for a visit visa while the case is still in the judiciary system? Will it get approved? How long normally takes if I wait for the bank to clear the case? Is this not the bank's responsibility to give me clearance from both the court and the police station?

س: تم احتجاز أخي الأسبوع الماضي في مطار الشارقة عندما كان مسافرًا من المملكة العربية السعودية، إذ أشاروا إلى وجود دعوى شيك مرتجع. عند النظر في التفاصيل، وجدنا أن هناك دعوى مفتوحة باسمه رفعها بنك أصدر بطاقة ائتمان لأخي عندما كان يعمل في أبو ظبي في عام 2018. كان هناك مبلغ مستحق الدفع لبطاقة الائتمان عندما عاد إلى وطنه من أبو ظبي في عام 2018. وفي وقت لاحق، نسّق مع موظفي التحصيل وتم تسوية الأمر بدفع المستحقات. هناك دليل على اتصال عبر البريد الإلكتروني في عام 2019 من مسؤولي البنك بأن جميع المستحقات تم دفعها وتسويتها وسيصدرون شهادة مخالصة، وهو ما لم نحصل عليه أبدًا. تم التوصل إلى تسوية مع البنك ولكن دعوى الشرطة لم تُغلق كما يبدو. الآن أخي في السجن بدون أي خطأ. تم نقله إلى أبو ظبي ويعملون الآن على نقله إلى دبي للمثول أمام المحكمة. ماذا نفعل في هذا الموقف؟ يواجه أخي كل هذه المشاكل بلا جريرة.

Q: Salam, I have a genuine request to everyone, please reply for the sake of humanity. I had borrowed a personal loan from the bank in 2017 which I could not pay at a later stage. A police criminal case was filed against me and I paid the fine. Years later, a civil case was also filed thus the travel ban. I somehow requested the bank to look into the matter, and they did not give me any discount but gave me installments to pay. I paid a 45k down payment against the outstanding of 115k and now I am paying 3k every month. On the 31st of December, we received the court verdict which was in my favor. Now the bank is insisting on me to withdraw the appeal as per my understanding after signing the agreement and they were supposed to withdraw the case against me. Now they are forcing me to take back the appeal since I am eligible for the court fee refund. If I withdraw the appeal, I will lose my money. Kindly advise what I should do. The bank is threatening to put a travel ban on me.

Q: Good Day, May I ask what the maximum time is to get approval for the reconciliation enforcement request for the Debtor Installment? A criminal case was served and closed, but a civil case is active; that's why there is an execution. Once I get approved, can I apply for a new visa? Thank you.
