Should I sign a new contract or extend my current one to meet the eviction date?

Hello,

My tenancy contract ends on August 9, 2024, but I received an eviction letter last December. Therefore, I submitted a request to extend the eviction until December 11, 2024.

My question is whether I need to sign a new contract for 4 months and 2 days or extend the old tenancy contract. Also, should I create a new Ejari for this period?

I want to be covered in case I need to dispute next year (in case the landlord rents it at a higher price, which is likely).

If I sign a new contract for 4 months and 2 days, will I still be eligible to dispute next year if the landlord rents it to someone else?
