Is an employee under an absconding case in the UAE entitled to all labor benefits?

Dear Sir/Madam,

If an employee is put under an absconding case in the UAE, is he entitled to all the benefits from the employer?

Or does he have to pay a fine to the company as he left for reasons beyond his control without giving notice?

He is entitled to his rights: outstanding salaries (if any), accrued annual leaves (if any), and end-of-service gratuity.

On your part, you are entitled to deduct the notice period salary from his entitlements.

Please check with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

Dear Questioner,

In the UAE, employees who abandon their jobs without notice may not receive end-of-service benefits or other entitlements from their employer.

Absconding is considered a serious offense, and employers can take legal action against employees who do this.

Employees might also have to pay a fine to the company per their employment contract. The consequences will vary depending on the situation and contract terms.

It's crucial for employees to know their rights under UAE labor law and seek legal help if needed.
