After 7 months on a limited contract, I resigned. Do I need to pay visa costs?
Hi sir,
I worked in a company for 7 months on a limited contract. I've submitted my resignation and need to pay the visa costs.
Today, I received the HR's resignation approval letter. They mentioned a 6-month position ban, but didn't specify the visa cost.
My MOHRE contract also doesn't mention any amount.
Dear Inquirer,
We are pleased to serve you and address your inquiries.
Do not submit your resignation. You must work during the warning period and adhere to the provisions of the Labor Law.
If anything else is required, don’t hesitate to contact us via email or call our offices in Dubai or Sharjah.

Dear Questioner,
Having worked for the company for 7 months (assuming it's after your probation), you've fulfilled your contractual obligation.
Legally, the employer cannot ask you to bear the visa cancellation cost if it isn't mentioned in your employment contract.
Regarding the ban, if you have terminated the contract properly by following the termination clauses mentioned in it, then they don't have any right to impose a ban on you.
If you need further clarification, we will arrange a consultation session.
