Worker visa application is rejected due to absconding. What to do now?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Two months ago, I had a visitor visa for Sharjah. Two weeks before my visa expired, I found a job. However, the employer took time to change my visa, submitting the application for a worker visa the day after my visitor visa expired.

Unfortunately, the application was rejected on grounds of absconding. Now, I have overstayed for three days. What can I do now?

Dear questioner,

Please contact your visa sponsor (the agency from which you obtained the visa) and request the removal of the absconding status.

Then, apply for the immediate clearance of overstay fines.

If your visa sponsor is unwilling to cooperate, file a request with MOHRE for absconding removal and overstay fine clearance.
