س: كان أبي سائق سيارة أجرة في الإمارات وكان يعمل فيها لمدة سبع سنوات. في أحد الأيام، جلس أحد الركاب في السيارة ووضع زجاجات الكحول في الجزء الخلفي من السيارة. لم يكن والدي على علم بذلك. لقد تلقى مكالمة من مصادره تبلغه أن إدارة التحقيقات الجنائية تتبع السيارة. حاول والدي الهروب ولكن إدارة التحقيقات الجنائية أمسكت به. لقد فرضوا حرمانًا دائمًا عليه وتم ترحليه إلى بلده. سؤالي هو كيف يمكننا رفع هذا النوع من الحرمان؟

How to close an active DUI case in Dubai to get a PCC?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My friend applied for a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), the status of which is "approved and sent" but it was never received because it was rejected. Further inquiries revealed that he has an active DUI case in Dubai, which he settled and paid the fine for 3 years ago. What can he do to close this case and receive a PCC? Thank you!

Q: Dear Lawyers, I was caught drinking and driving (no accident). They held me in prison for one day, then I signed some papers and they released me. Do I have to pay a penalty if terminated after completing my contract period?
Sir, As per my contract period, they mentioned that if I leave the company before 1 year, I have to pay 5000 dirhams. But I have already completed more than 1 year and 3 months. The company has given me a warning letter saying my work performance is low, and if I continue like this, they will terminate me. They didn't mention any charges, but they mentioned in the letter a top penalty procedure. So I need to know whether I have to pay them any charges or not.
