Terminated during probation for raising concerns about manager: What now?

Good morning,

I was terminated during my probationary period this week. I understand there is no right of appeal during this period. However, the HR contact has told me to seek legal advice as they believe I may have a case.

I submitted a confidential submission to HR raising concerns in good faith about my manager, disclosing a number of very serious issues, and was told that my identity would be protected and I would not be treated differently or victimized in any way.

My identity was leaked to management, and I was removed from all accounts, moved desks, told not to meet with any colleagues, and then terminated as a result.

I suppose my question is, is there a case? I should add that it is a government-owned airline, so any route would be the ruler court.

Dear Questioner,

We have to check whether there is any case filed against you. If the employment contract hasn't been breached, there's no need to worry.

Normally, if any legal action is taken against you, you'll be informed via registered mail and contact number.

Unless a case has been initiated against you, there may not be any travel ban imposed.
