Settlement of credit card payments in a civil case by the bank

The bank is saying they will go for a civil case after I came out of the criminal case for a credit card cheque bounce. I have no money to pay. Will I be jailed?

I am willing to pay the outstanding amount & dues if the bank can make for me instalment plan without a downpayment.

The cheque amount was 55,000. Now, the amount including fines and dues is 77,000.

If the bank initiates a civil case against you, it is possible to defend the same and chances of appeals also are there.

During the execution stage, you can avail the instalment facility also.

The jail term comes at the end if you are not paying, even at the time of execution, and that time only the travel ban comes in the civil case.

That means I can make a settlement plan with the bank & they cannot make a travel ban on me and I can travel, right?

If you make a settlement plan with the bank, it will be for one time or two times payment only.

If you agree for the same, no travel ban will be thereof. If you don't pay now, you can pay it in instalments during the execution stage.
