Can I come back to the UAE and find a job if I have credit card outstandings?

Hi

I am from India, I was working in the UAE until November 2018 for a job change in the UAE, and I returned to India. But I didn't get that expected job or a new one from the UAE.

When I left the UAE, I had a credit card outstanding for a period of 6 months. I paid the EMI from India. But after 6 months, I could not continue to pay the EMI.

Can I come back to the UAE and find a good job and pay back my debts?

Dear,

You need to make sure the bank didn't file a case against you or imposed a travel ban/arrest warrant before traveling to avoid any legal conflict.

My total outstanding was not more than AED 27000 in 2018, for three banks.

Since your total outstanding was approx. AED 27000 in 2018, it increased significantly (most likely) by 2023 because of interest.

We would have to do a Legal Status Check to see whether there is a legal case on you, or we could help you to negotiate your debt with the banks.

You can go back to the Emirates. And if the bank has taken legal action against you, there may be some problems at the airport.
