What are the options for appealing a forgery verdict?

Dear Sir/Madam,

My friend is the third accused in a criminal case of forgery of documents. He was sentenced to imprisonment and deportation.

Can he appeal from inside the jail, or will his family need to do it from outside?

He can register the appeal from inside and the first-degree relatives can register it in the prosecution.

He can file an appeal from prison.

His family cannot appeal the verdict without a power of attorney from him.
