What should employees and employers do when commission-only jobs don't pay?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Many agents are forced to accept commission-only jobs, and then find themselves working full-time for zero pay in a very competitive market.

For example, let's say you work full-time for six months and fail to make a sale. The law requires the company to cover basic living costs.

In such a case, what should the employee and employer do?

Dear questioner,

If the question is related to the law, then there is no solution in the law to this difficult situation for both parties.

There may be a solution for the employer, which is to agree on the commission with part-time employees and cover their basic expenses.

It may be in agreement with young people, students, and persons on their family visas.

It may be in agreement with people who have a self-employment visa.

Of course, this must be approved by the Ministry of Human Resources, and the new labor law allows these types of work.

Would it be useful if somebody brought a case forward to help establish case law?

Given that they are unpaid; they won't be able to do it for themselves and companies will continue to take advantage of people.

If the agreement was on a percentage of the sales, and there were no sales, then the lawsuit is forfeited.
