Will I get arrested in GCC countries if I left the UAE with an unpaid loan and credit card?
Hello Sir
I have an unpaid bank loan and credit card in the UAE since I lost my job last 2014. Now I have a plan to go to Kuwait to try another opportunity.
Will I get arrested in immigration if I enter one of the GCC countries?
Hopefully, you can help and advise me.
Thanks.
There is a judicial cooperation agreement between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, but there is no connection between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council in cases to date, according to the question.
In the sense that the case filed in Kuwait does not have an immediate effect in the GCC countries unless the bank takes the necessary procedures to circulate it internationally, whether within the GCC countries only in accordance with the judicial cooperation agreement or through Interpol.
In a clear sense, if an arrest warrant or circular was issued against a person in Kuwait, it is not enforceable within the UAE except by following the aforementioned procedures.
