Dear Sir/Madam, Is it possible to resign on probation and return to home country? I came here to join a company on November 1, 2022, and I got my Emirates ID on February 2, 2023. Now I want to resign because I am unable to adjust to the company's work culture and unprofessional behavior. I am planning to go back to my home country, Bangladesh. I want to know how long I can stay after canceling the visa and if there is any obligation that could be created by my employer. As I bear my all costs by myself coming over to Dubai, they only provide the company's visa cost.  Thank you!

I'm an employer and an employee claimed 50% overtime. The actual overtime working hours were 20% for which extra was added to his salary with the right calculation. A MOHRE case was logged but it's now in court. Our first hearing is next week (online court sessions). Do I need to prepare my documents that can be presented in court or do I need to prepare something in advance to show my calculations and proof?

Hello. I went to a very well-known and professional salon (or so I thought) for a normal hair dye. The guy who did my hair left the dye on my hair for over an hour when it was supposed to be on for a maximum of 30 minutes. He wasn’t paying attention to me walking around the store talking to everyone and also doing another customer's extensions. Now my hair is potentially damaged, my skull burns, and is flaky (meaning the dye wasn’t ammonia-free which is extremely unprofessional for such an expensive salon). I didn’t even get the outcome that I wanted and the dye color doesn’t even show. I talked to him about it but he shut it down so fast and gaslit me the whole time and made me feel like I was the wrong one and I was ‘complaining about something so light’. Dear lawyers, The new employee will start on June 1, 2025. However, he would like to open a new bank account in the UAE thus asking to provide the salary certificate mentioning his salary in AED and if possible not mentioning the start date. Legally, can the company provide such a certificate?
