How can I get my passport from the company I work for?

They do not register me with the ministry of labor and I also cannot appeal a case against them because I am not registered with their company.

What do I need to do?

Please advise me.

No one is allowed to keep your passport and hold it from you. You can open a police case.

They told me to save 3000 thousand to get my passport and that's what I did.

When I saved 3000 thousand and met them at the police station, they still didn't give me my passport but they asked for additional payment.

Please advise me on what I should do.

If your employer keeps your passport and refuses to return it to you, you can go to the nearest police station, or you can go to your embassy in the country to file a complaint.

Please be aware that you have all the necessary rights and privileges to have your own passport and you have all the rights to question your employer if your employer insists on keeping it with him.

Hi ma'am Mariam,

Yes, I did. I went to the nearest police station but they suggest I go to the court to get a legal notice letter.

But when I went to the court they suggested to I go to Al Adheed center, to open a case against them, and Al Adheed told me that I cannot open a case against them because I'm not registered with that company.
