س: السلام عليكم.
اتفقت أنا وزوجتي على الطلاق بالتراضي. أنا أسكن في الشارقة وإقامتي من دبي.
- أين علينا التوجه لبدء إجراءات الطلاق؟ هل يمكن أن أقوم بها في الشارقة؟
- هل هناك إجراءات طلاق سريع بحيث ينتهي في زيارة واحدة مع القاضي بدلاً من القيام بعدة جلسات مع الموجه الأسري؟
- ليس لدينا أقارب أو أصدقاء مقربين ليشهدوا على الطلاق، فهل تقوم المحكمة بتأمين الشهود من جهتها ليشهدوا على واقعة الطلاق؟
- إقامة زوجتي على كفالتي وتنتهي في ٤/٢٠٢١، هل تلغى إقامتها فوراً عند الطلاق أم تبقى سارية على إقامتي حتي تنتهي في وقتها الطبيعي ٤/٢٠٢١؟

س: طاب يومك،
عندما غادرنا إمارة دبي قبل بضع سنوات، لم نحصل على تصاريح خروج قبل المغادرة ولم نعد منذ ذلك الوقت.
لقد استقلت من وظيفتي قبل المغادرة ولدي دليل على أن الشركة ألغت تأشيرتي بعد المغادرة. كما أنني أغلقت جميع الحسابات وسددت كافة الديون قبل المغادرة.
لقد كفلت زوجتي باعتبارها "ربة منزل ممنوعة من العمل". حسب علمي، سيتم إلغاء تأشيرتها تلقائيًا بمجرد أن تقوم الشركة بإلغاء تأشيرتي. لم تعمل زوجتي أبدًا ولم يكن لديها أي قروض أو حسابات، وما إلى ذلك.
هل سنواجه أي مشاكل إذا أردنا العبور عبر دبي أو زيارة دبي مرة أخرى لأننا لم نلغ تأشيرتها ولم نحصل على تصاريح خروج قبل المغادرة؟

My rent cheque was bounced, and my landlord filed a case against me in Sharjah Court. I received a fine of 2,000 AED, which was later reduced to 1,000 AED upon appeal.
Does this case count as a criminal conviction under UAE law, or was it handled as a civil matter?
If I apply for a U.S. visa, will I need to submit court records under the requirement for applicants with past convictions?

How can I renew my Ejari if the landlord hasn’t signed the new contract?
Hi,
I have been here for 3 years now and paid the increased amount (as per the agreement) for the 4th year.
However, the landlord did not send me back the signed contract, although I have both made the payment for the full year via bank transfer and sent my signed contract to him.
I need to renew my Ejari; however, how can I do it without the landlord's signature?
I have all the previous contracts signed by both parties, along with the Ejari for those contracts.

I purchased an apartment, but the previous landlord refuses to vacate. What to do?
Hello,
I bought an apartment, but the previous landlord is refusing to vacate it. The contract clearly states that the landlord should hand over the apartment on the day of the transfer.
Out of courtesy, I gave him three days to vacate so he could find a new place to stay, but the time has passed, and he is still refusing to vacate and hand it over.

Can we give a salary certificate to a new hired employee before he starts to open a bank account?
Dear lawyers,
The new employee will start on June 1, 2025. However, he would like to open a new bank account in the UAE thus asking to provide the salary certificate mentioning his salary in AED and if possible not mentioning the start date.
Legally, can the company provide such a certificate?
