Do the bank have the right to use my EOSB to adjust my remaining loan?

Q: I have a loan from a bank and I have changed my job, the bank is holding my end of service. Q: Hello, My bank is not releasing my EOSB. I resigned from my previous company after 10 years with them as I will be transferring to another company. I just started a week ago. I was told by my bank that they will not release my money since my salary is AED 1,000 less than what I previously earned. My current salary is still able to cover my liabilities with them. I even inquired with them last month and informed them of my resignation and was told that as soon as I submit my documents from my new employer, they will release my money. This Decree sets the rules and conditions for the termination of fixed-term (limited) or unlimited (not term-bound) employment contract between employer and worker in the United Arab Emirates.

The provisions of this Decree-Law, known as "New UAE Labor Law", govern labour relations in the private sector of the United Arab Emirates. The New Labor Law repeals the previous UAE Labor Law (Federal Law No. (8) of 1980).
