How to get your finder's fee if you are not a registered real estate broker in the UAE
I am not a real estate agent. I just happened to match a sale of property deal between two licensed agents, one is the seller's agent and the other is the buyer's agent.
I wanted to know if legally I can get paid referral or finder's fees if the property is sold.
If yes, I need help drafting the agreement between all 3 parties.
Hi,
Since you are not providing such services in a professional manner, you may be entitled to receiving a commission.
We can assist you in drafting a bespoke agreement to ensure legal transparency and your rights.
Please contact us at our email for further information.

A referral fee recommended rather than brokerage. The brokerage requires a license, so we can assist with a referral agreement.
Dear Questioner,
Please note that your referral agreement that you can sign is a referral agreement or a finder's fee has to be signed directly with the brokerage companies and not with the buyer or the seller.
Because, as per the regulations of the UAE, any agreement that you will be signing as a party together with the buyer and or seller in regards to such transaction will not be valid unless you are an authorized and certified real estate broker, which is a regulated profession in the UAE.
So, in this case, you will have to sign a general referral agreement together with the brokerage companies, and then put in place the relevant memo or note that proves you have made such referral without mentioning anything related to your involvement in closing the deal.
Otherwise, it will be in violation of the laws in the UAE.
We are acting as the lead counsel for several real estate brokerage companies in the UAE and we have been involved in several big real estate transactions where it involved mortgage providers, other banks and investment companies.
We have the experience and the capacity and capability to draft the needed agreements and review the transaction to avoid any breach of the law at your end as well as to safeguard your fee towards all the involved parties!
