What should I do if my employer refuses to cancel my visa?
Hello Sir/ Ma’am,
I'm working in a hospital in Dubai for 18 years and due to COVID-19, I was forced and released out of my work.
All other formalities are done as usual and I have a new job offer, so I want to do the cancellation but the owner does not accept to cancel my visa.
So please, can you advise?

- How long have you been working with the company? - 18 years completed
- Do you have a university degree? - Yes
يجب على صاحب العمل إلغاء تصريح عمل موظفيه لدى وزارة الموارد البشرية والتوطين، وإلغاء التأشيرة من خلال الإدارة العامة للإقامة وشؤون الأجانب.
أيضًا، يجب على صاحب العمل الحصول على خطاب إلغاء تصريح عمل موقّع من جانب الموظف وتعهد من الموظف بأنه تلقى كافة المستحقات والأجور.
لذلك، أريد أن أعرف ما إذا كنت قد وقّعت على إلغاء تصريح العمل وجميع التفاصيل ذات الصلة.
