Is it possible to cancel a cheque without date which is given as a security deposit after the cancellation of tenancy contract with the landlord in Sharjah?

Dear Questioner,

Please note that cancelling a check after issuance as a process does not exist! You may verify this with your bank.

On the other hand, if you are able to block or cancel a cheque issued as a guarantee for a tenancy contract, it means you are committing an act of breach of that contract.

It means you will be exposing yourself to litigation and penalty compensation because of such action.

I do not recommend you to do that.
